About The Rounds
The Rounds began at the Ether Dome of Massachusetts General Hospital as two separate seminars, one in pain medicine and one in orofacial pain. They merged in 2005 to form a single interdisciplinary nonprofit forum that has run continuously ever since.
Today the program convenes clinicians, researchers, trainees, policymakers, and patients each week, virtually and free of charge, reaching more than eighty countries. Our seminars encourage exploration across a wide range of topics and give rise to real collaboration, reflection, and discourse.
We provide evidence-based content and explore empirical support for novel avenues of patient care.
